Former Super Eagles Team Coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Attah said the coach should stop experimenting with the team but rather concentrate on building a team towards the forthcoming African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
He made this assertion recently while speaking with some sports journalists in his office in Abuja.
Attah who was also the former Football Association Chairman of Federal Capital Territory, FCT said he doesn’t like comparing when he was asked to compare the team during their time and now.
He noted that, “Yes people say the Super Eagles during our time were solid but I don’t like making comparison. This is another stage, we still have talented players in the team. During our time, we played our part, what we needed to do is to harness those talents.”
Attah however urged fans not to lose hope in the team. He disclosed that there are still good individual players in the present team and what is needed to do is to harness the team.
“We should not lose hope in our team. We still have a group of individual players, my advise to the coach is that enough of experimenting, I think we have seen enough of those players. Let’s build a solid team towards the Nations Cup,” he concluded.
