FCT FA Chairman commends organisers of NMS Ex-Boys Inter-Chapters Football Tourney

The chairman of FCT Football Association, Alhaji Adam Mouktar said he is proud of the Executive members of the Nigerian Military School, NMS Ex-Boys Association for organizing a football tournament to bring their people together.

He made this assertion on Saturday during the NMS Ex-Boys 68^th Inter-Chapter (State) Foundation Five-Aside Football Competition at the Maitama Garden Five-Aside Football Pitch, Abuja.

Alh. Mouktar said the military need exercises like the football competition to keep them fit always and hope that they will sustain the tempo.

He said he is going to ensure that the FCT FA have a working relationship with the Ex-Boys Association to make the tournament bigger.

Responding, the president of the Ex-Boys Association, Mr. Femi Ikuponiyi thanked the FCT FA Chairman for honouring their invitation despite his tight schedule. He said they are very happy to have him in their midst.

He however disclosed that the football tournament is part of the activity to mark the foundation day celebration of the NMS which will come up on the 20^th of May, 2022.

Alh. Mouktar was decorated with the Association regalia. He later took a group photograph with the executives, officials and the finalists (FCT Team A and Kaduna Team) before he kicked the ball to kick-start the match.

The FCT Team A eventually emerged as the champions of the Five-Aside Football Tournament, winning by 5-2.
