The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Football Club, J14 and Future Guaranteed Football Club have scaled through to the next round of the FCT Aiteo Cup after defeating their opponents in their first round of matches.
In the first match of the day, Roma FC lost to J14 by 0-1 while Future Guaranteed Football Club, FGFC defeated Likeminds Football Club by 6-4. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time but after penalty shoot-out, FGFC won, to scale through. In the last match of the day, NYSC FC fought hard to defeat Maracana FC by 2-1.
The first match that was played on Thursday, saw Abees defeating Ejele by 3–2. The match between N-Youth Sport and Tikitaka Academy was ongoing as at press time.
Meanwhile, Vermard Africa FC and Aruwa View FC will engage themselves in a battle later in the day while the last match of the day will be between Sansio FA and City FC by 4pm.
On Friday, Jardin FC will play IB Sports Dream by 10am while Catholic Cadet FC will confront Jihasu FC by 12noon. De Royal FC and Konsole Sports will fight for the only ticket at stake by 2pm while the last match will be between Mitantariku FC and Correctional Service by 4pm.
