It was a beehive of activities last Saturday in Nyanya, as Living Faith Church took out time to carry our community service otherwise known as Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR in its environs.
The Church led by its Resident Pastor, Alexander Cornelius ensured that all the drainages in its environs were cleared of dirt so that there can be free flow of water especially when it rains, while they fill up the potholes and the bad spots in the area.
Meanwhile, Pastor Cornelius was seen supervising the work which took over six hours to carry out while the Youth Coordinator, Bro. Sam Emidun also assisted in ensuring that the work goes smoothly.

While the clearance of the drainage was going on, some members of the Church were carrying out evangelism work, sharing fliers and tracts to passers-by and motorists; and preaching to people on the need to live and serve God.
Speaking after the exercise, Pastor Alexander said he is happy with the turn-out of its members. He further said, they are carrying out community service because government cannot do everything hence the reason for their actions.

His words, “Life is all about supporting and giving back to humanity. God, in His infinite mercy and love for humanity gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die for us. That is why we felt as a Church to also support the government and give back to humanity by carrying out this Community Service. We believe government cannot do everything, that is why we are intervening.”
According to him, the Church will continue with the service this coming Saturday in another location. It will be recalled that this is not the first that the Church is carrying out such services.
