Head coach of Rangers International F.C, Abdul Maikaba, has assured the club’s numerous fans that he and his wards were in Jos, the ‘Tin City’ for a matchday 30, NPFL 2021/2022 fixture against Plateau United with their sights set at annexing all three points at stake.
Maikaba, who will be giving out the hand of his daughter, Bilkisu, in marriage to the son of A.I.G Aliyu Abubakar, Saifudeen on match day, will be coming up against his immediate past employers that edged his current club 1-0 in their first meeting earlier in the season in Nnewi and will be looking to avenge the home loss in this re-arranged matchday fixture inside the New Jos Stadium on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Smarting from a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dakkada in last week’s fixture in Awka, the ‘Flying Antelopes’ whose first-round away form is still to be matched in the second stanza, is boosted by the return to training sessions of mercurial midfielder, Ugochukwu Ugwuoke, defense lynchpin, Tope Olusesi, and attacking sensation, Chinonso Eziekwe from injury.
