The Secretary of the FCT Football Association, Mr. Haruna Ilerika said the final of the 2022 FCT Aiteo Cup will take place tomorrow at the Area 3 Football, Abuja by 4pm.
He stated this after the All Stars Football Club and the Ex-Professsionals engage themselves in a novelty match in honour of Senator Philip Aduda on Sunday to mark his 53rd birthday.
Mr. Ilerika said everything is in place to have a successful final and they have lined up other activities to make it unique and different from what they have been having.
Meanwhile, when asked about the replay match between Niger Tornadoes and Lobi Stars of Makurdi that was moved to Abuja after it was abandoned half-way, he simply said that will not disturb the final of the Aiteo cup.
He said the League Management Company, LMC only inspected and approved the Area 10 Old Parade Ground hence the match will take place there.
Recalled that the final of the FCT Aiteo Cup will be played between a Nigerian National League, NNL side, EFCC and a non-league side, Mailantarki Football Club.
